Paul Smith Fall 09

I am really loving knitting patterns and traditional knitting shapes at the moment. I found this collection from Paul Smith Fall 2009. Great use of colour and silhouette in the collection. There is a feel of 'the wild' in the garments. The use of Fair Isle is really brilliant.

Dark Poetry

By a route obscure and lonely,
Haunted by ill angels only,
Where an Eidolon, named NIGHT,
On a black throne reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
From an ultimate dim Thule-
From a wild clime that lieth, sublime,

Out of SPACE- out of TIME.

Edgar Allan Poe. Dreamland 1844
