Here are some samples of knitting tests from my project. I have been testing with lots of different kinds of wool.
This sample is just simple knitting but the wool is 12ply so it was really quick to knit and looks really chunky and warm.
This test is double 8ply wool on size 10 needles. Its quite rustic looking.
I have tried an Aran pattern in this chunky wool, I think it has worked quite well to give texture.
